    Ordered soft egg on the bacon and egg roll, got well cooked hard egg. Cappuccino was nothing more than a flat white. No froth. Gone downhill since new management

    especially one that time is in the process of forgetting. The Old Hume Cafe serves quality food and the staff are friendly. It was fascinating to sit at the window and watch the Gunning dogs patrol their territory. We're going to take the old road more often (and that includes the "Old Sydney Road").

    Great cafe, friendly with a big menu. Kids can play in the large grass area out the back which has lovely trees for shade. Coffee is great too

    A bit slow on service when they're busy, but the food is wonderful. Well worth a stop.

    I'm glad we decided to take the old road otherwise we would never have seen Gunning. It's pretty much just one main street (in terms of shops), but it was great to soak up the atmosphere and pace of a country town –
